Granite Devices supplies selection of brushless / AC servo motors. This page summarizes the motors and their features.
BL series motors
BL series motors are brushless servo motors suitable for most applications.
- Standard features
- Encoder resolution options:
- 1000 PPR (4 000 counts/rev)
- 2500 PPR (10 000 counts/rev)
- Integrated Hall sensor for fast power-on and suitability for vertical axis
- Range from 42W to 660W
- Medium inertia
- Data sheets
- BL42 and BL70 series specifications (PDF)

- Servo motors on our Web shop
KANZ series motors
KANZ series servo motors are sinusoidally commutated low inertia motors.
- Standard features
- 2500 PPR (10 000 counts/rev) encoder
- Range from 30W to 15kW, stocked range typically 200W to 1kW.
- Integrated Hall sensor for fast power-on and suitability for vertical axis
- Come with pre-assembled encoder cable for Argon and Ion drives
- Available for various supply voltages (on order)
- Available with holding brake (on order)
- Data sheets
- KANZ series specifications (PDF). Full encoder pin map (PDF) for those who use it with other drive than Argon/Ion.
- Purchasing
- Servo motors on our Web shop
- Quick commissioning guide
- Commissioning of KANZ servo motors
