DCtool main window

DCtool is a setup software for VSD-E and VSD-XE in DualDC operating mode. Compared to GDtool it provides less functionality but also easier setup process.

DualDC operating mode allows driving two independent brush DC servo axis on single VSD-E/XE drive.

How to use DualDC

  1. Get DCtool/GDFlasher package from Download-icon.png here
  2. Install DualDC firmware to VSD-E or XE drive by using supplied GDflasher software. Needed firmware file is supplied in the same software package.
  3. Start DCtool to configure the drive. Do not connect GDtool to drive when DualDC FW is loaded.

For detailed instructions, please refer to VSD-E/XE DualDC manual.
