DCtool
DCtool is a setup software for VSD-E and VSD-XE in DualDC operating mode. Compared to GDtool it provides less functionality but also easier setup process.
DualDC operating mode allows driving two independent brush DC servo axis on single VSD-E/XE drive.
How to use DualDC[edit | edit source]
- Get DCtool/GDFlasher package from
here - Install DualDC firmware to VSD-E or XE drive by using supplied GDflasher software. Needed firmware file is supplied in the same software package.
- Start DCtool to configure the drive. Do not connect GDtool to drive when DualDC FW is loaded.
