VSD-E Parallel Interface (VSDEPI)

Breakout cardVSD-E Paralllel interface is a breakout board designed to ease connection of up to four VSD-E drives in single D-Sub 25 connector. Connector pin-out has been designed for step/dir operation from popular CNC controllers such as Mach3, EMC2 and SmoothStepper.

Smart fault handling

VSDEPI combined with VSD-E/XE drives has been designed to handle fault states a smart way. When a connected drive faults (i.e. motion blocked), drive's fault signal will be forwarded to PC which in return will disable all axis making the system complete stop. The same happens by hitting E-stop button either from hardware or software. By re-enabling drives from software, all connected drives will clear faults and continue where left off.
